Magdalena, a fine-dining bistro, is both informal and thrilling, a culinary jewel of Baltimore. The cross-cultural menu is built upon the finest local ingredients, and changes with the seasons and the inspiration of the chef.
There are five different dining areas at Magdalena: the Garden Room, which looks out onto The Ivy’s walled Courtyard; the intimate, romantic Treasury - where sterling and crystal were once kept under lock and key, and where welcoming tables now stand under pools of lamplight; the vaulted, brick-floored Wine Cellar; Tasting Room; and the handsome, convivial Bar. And of course diners are welcome to enjoy drinks at the Bar before moving to their table.

Executive Chef Mark Levy
Levy, a classically-trained, award-winning chef, has traveled the world exploring cultures and cuisines from the African lowlands to French mountain villages. He tells the story of those journeys – and traditions closer to home – on the plate. High-quality, local, seasonal ingredients are at the forefront of the menu. The Wine Cellar
The Robert M. Parker Wine Cellar is named in honor of the world’s foremost wine authority, a native Baltimorean and a frequent guest at the restaurant. We are very proud to be the only wine cellar in the world to be permitted to use Mr. Parker’s name. The focus of the Cellar is superb small production American wines, although The Ivy also has a broad selection of unique wines from around the world, as well as dozens of 100 point wines. The Coravin wine system enables us to share incredible, vintage wines by the glass.
