To take things up a notch, The Ivy Hotel has a [Valentine’s Day package](https://www.theivybaltimore.com/offers/valentines-day/) running through Feb. 24. Those looking to turn the holiday into a luxurious one-night staycation can choose from a king room (starting at $1,065) or a king suite (starting at $1,200), complete with special perks including a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, a gift bag and a nightcap before bed, along with made-to-order breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails*,* said Rachel Delaney, a marketing manager at the hotel.

“Our rooms are absolutely romantic,” she said.

Magdalena, the hotel’s restaurant serving French-inspired dishes, will have an “elevated” menu for Valentine’s Day that is still being finalized, Delaney said. At the spa this month, couples can book a 60-minute session with a technician who will teach them massage techniques*, *with glasses of champagne and crudités in a room filled with rose petals ($400 for two, 48-hour notice requested).
