The Ivy is a very special place, and we want you to feel you are in your own magnificent, discreet and secure home when you are staying with us. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, cocktails and all on-site activities are included in your room rate, and valet and limo service within city limits are always complimentary.

Arrival and Departure

Our check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Should you arrive earlier, you are welcome to enjoy the hotel and join us for afternoon tea until your room is ready. Please let us know your expected arrival time and we will make every effort to have your room ready for you.

We kindly request that you vacate your room no later than 11 a.m. Late departure requests will be accommodated if availability allows. We will charge your stay before arrival and any additional charges will be added to your folio, which will be mailed to you upon your departure, unless otherwise requested

No Gratuities Accepted

Because of our firm belief that excellent service should be expected from The Ivy, hotel staff members are not allowed to accept tips. The only exception to this is for meal service at Magdalena.

Your Reservation Deposit

To confirm your reservation, a deposit equal to the full charge of the first night’s stay is required at the time of booking. You are responsible for the full reservation as booked, unless you cancel in accordance with our cancellation policy.


Children are welcome at The Ivy Hotel. Those under five years of age stay free of charge, while children six and older will be considered a third occupant and a fee of $150 per night will be added to the room rate.


A pet fee of $50 per room per night (maximum two dogs) will be charged, not including any additional costs that result from damage and/or a flea infestation. We welcome dogs under 25 pounds and require that they be well-trained, leashed when in common areas and crated when left alone (crates available upon request). Please call ahead and we will place a hold on a pet-friendly room for you and your companion(s).

Non-Smoking Facility

The Ivy Hotel is a non-smoking facility. Guests will be charged an additional sum equal to the entire booking for smoking in a guest room, to cover the closure of the room and extensive clean-up costs required.

Cancellations & Non-Arrival Policies

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly and we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Your deposit, less a $200 per room processing fee, will be refunded if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. If there are less than 72 hours remaining, your deposit will be forfeited.

If for any reason you do not show up for your reservation, the room rate will be charged in full for all nights reserved.
